There has never been a better time to engage with the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Michigan’s reinvention is in full swing and no other business organization plays a greater role in job creation and business growth in our state. Membership offers a chance to connect with other business leaders at networking events in Michigan, providing the connections necessary to keep your business going strong.
Business Advocacy: Rated the most effective advocacy organization in Michigan we fight for all Michigan businesses. There is a battle in Lansing to determine who will chart the course of our state and job providers must be actively engaged. Elected officials are being pressured each day by unions and other special interest groups who want to roll back the clock to the days of big labor and big government. Many of these groups have strength in numbers and in dollars but it is clear that they do not have the best interest of the business community in mind. The constant call for increased taxes, frivolous spending, and increased regulation must be answered with an even stronger call for limited government, lower taxes and support for free enterprise. Who can do this? The Michigan Chamber of Commerce. We are on the job in Lansing fighting the special interests so you can keep doing your job of growing your business.
Litigation Center: It is clear that there is a direct correlation between a state’s legal environment and its economic competitiveness. Unfortunately, in Michigan, government bureaucrats and activist judges often derail pro growth agendas when they supplant their will for that of duly elected policy makers. Our mission is simple; utilize the best and brightest lawyers to aggressively engage in precedent setting cases at both the state and federal level to champion the rights of Michigan’s job providers and strengthen our economy.
Endorsements: Every candidate campaigns as pro-business. But not every candidate legislates accordingly. The Michigan Chamber plays a very aggressive role in ensuring pro-business lawmakers and rule of law judges are elected.
