The law requires that operators of powered industrial trucks must receive both classroom and practical training. This includes 13 truck-related topics, nine workplace-related topics and the comparison between forklifts and automobiles. This class is designed to be a train-the-trainer course, but is detailed enough to satisfy the classroom portion of operator training. The successful participant will become an integral part of the employer's training and monitoring of the OSHA powered industrial standard.
